How do I use ePromptly?
ePromptly is an easy-to-use platform that allows users to quickly find and use prompts with a single click. Sellers can also design and publish their own prompts and earn rewards in return. To get started, simply create a free account! With your account, you'll have access to a wide variety of prompts and have the ability to create and publish your own.
Can I use it for free?
Yes, creators of prompts may allow some free generations per user. You can check on each prompt's page to see if free generations are allowed. Once you have used up your free generations, you need to purchase credits in order to generate more content.
How much does it cost?
Each prompt has a price per generation (image or text) that the creators of the prompt have determined. Typically, the cost is in cents of the dollar. You need to purchase credits on your account page and then you can use those credits to generate content from any prompts you like.
Can i use the generated content?
Yes, you can use any of the generated content available on the platform for free, even for commercial use. Content that has been generated with free credits is publicly available. The content that you generate with your paid credits is only visible to you.
How do I sell prompts?
To design and sell prompts, create an account and add your OpenAI API key. Then, go to the 'Sell Prompts' page and start building your prompts. You can design text or image prompts, add inputs that are introduced by users, etc. Choose a price for each generation and submit the prompt. We will approve the prompt within a few hours and you will start earning rewards every time somebody uses the prompt.
Do I need an API key?
Only if you want to build and sell a prompt, not for using published prompts. Before creating a prompt you need to get your own API key, which can be found on the OpenAI website. You will be responsible for paying directly to OpenAI for the API usage. We will pay you for the content generated by users, so you should set a price for each generation that covers the cost plus any additional profit you deem reasonable.
When will I receive my payment?
To receive a payment, go to your seller account page and click on the "Cashout" button. We will process your request within 24 business hours. You can choose to receive the payment via Stripe or, if this option is not available in your country, by cryptocurrency.
How much are the fees?
Our revenue model is 30% - 70%, meaning we take 30% of the profits of a prompt and you receive 70%. For example, if a prompt that generates an image has a price of 3 credits (equivalent to $0.03) and the cost of one image in OpenAI is $0.02, then the total profit is $0.01 and you, the seller, recives $0.007 of profit + $0.02 of the cost (total = $0.027).
However, the minimum fee is 5% of the total price of the prompt; this is because the seller may choose to offer a price below the cost. So in case of a prompt with a price is 0.02$ and a cost also of 0.02$, then we take a fee of 5% of $0.02 = $0.001.
The fee will always be the highest value between 30% of profits and 5% of total price, and it is only applicable once. We do not charge any fee for free generations or when a user generates content for a prompt that they created.
